South West eCommerce is no longer providing domain name registration services.

If you have previously registered a domain name with us, we highly recommend that you transfer your domains to Webolution, who provide very good domain name management and other related services.

Here are the instructions:

1. Click here to visit the Webolution website
   
   
2. Click on the "Transfer Domain" link. This is found in the bottom row of red links, just above the domain name box
   
   
3. Enter your domain name you wish to transfer, press Check Availability, and then follow the instructions from there.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is free to transfer .au domains at any time. However, when you transfer a .com domain (or .net, .org. etc), you need to pay for a 1 year extension on your domain. These are the rules of the global domain registrar. What this means is that if your domain is due in 6 months time, you can transfer now but you will need to pay a 1 year registration fee (usually around $18) and your domain expiry will be extended by a further year (eg. due in 18 months).

We recommend using Webolution for domain registration and transfer, because they provide excellent service and pricing.

NOTE: During the transfer process, you may need to provide the domain name password (sometimes referred to as the EPP code) for the domain you wish to transfer. If you don't have your domain name password (EPP code), here is how you get it:

- Log into your account at http://domains.southwestecommerce.net.au
- Click the plus button (+) next to the domain, to expand the information
- Next to Authorization Info, click on the "get authinfo" button
- You will then be provided with your domain password

Once you have completed the above steps, the domains registry will send you an automated email to confirm the transfer. Simply click on the link in the email to confirm the transfer. Once this is done, the transfer will go through within a few days.
