UPDATE YOUR OWN WEBSITE TODAY

Regardless of who made your website, regardless of where it's hosted, and regardless of whether you've had any website experience, you can start editing your own website today.

Although we have offered a self-editing system for some time now, it has currently being upgraded to provide one of the most user-friendly updating systems around. Now anybody who can use a word processor can use this system to update their own website with ease, at any time of day, from any computer in the world that is connected to the Internet.

Imagine being able to log in and instantly update prices, images, text and other areas on your website, without needing to contact a web designer.

Our "SWeCS Edit Self Editing System" allows you to log in to your website via username and password, and then make changes to it using an interface that works very much like a word processor. That is, you type, cut, paste, and so on. Then when you click on Save it automatically converts it and updates your pages. It really is that easy.

And it's totally safe. If by any chance you make a mistake, you can always go back to the previous copy, or the first original copy, with the simple click of a mouse.

THIS FORTNIGHT'S QUESTION

This fortnight's question comes David:

"Can you run our online competitions for us?

We do still provide a competition management service, but it is limited to the online form side of things only. That is, we can set up a competition entry form, to look exactly like your website, which then collects entries, emails you and the entrant (if desired), and randomly selects a winner.

What we don't get involved in is any kind of offline administration of competitions, such as permit numbers etc (although in many cases permits are not required anyway).

Got a question? Send it to us at admin@southwestecommerce.com and we'll do our best to answer it, as well as publish one every fortnight for everyone to see.
