UPDATE YOUR OWN WEBSITE WITHOUT ANY TRAINING!

Got a website that you want to update yourself? Don't want to do any website training? Here's the answer!

Introducing SWeCS Edit, our new website self-editing system that allows you to alter your website even if you've had absolutely no training before. Do you know how to use a word processor? Then you already know how to use SWeCS Edit.

SWeCS Edit works by allowing you to alter text and images on your website as if you were using a word processor. You can cut and paste, click and drag, insert images, insert tables, and so on. When you save it, the system automatically converts it and updates your website. So you don't need any knowledge of website coding at all.

SWeCS Edit is also completely safe. It keeps copies of previous versions of your website pages, as well as original copies. This means you can confidently click on "Save", and know that if you make a mistake you can go back to the previous version, or even the original version, in a flash.

Do you have a website that needs regular updating? Perhaps you have a specials page, or a lunch menu, or a products list, that needs updating often. Maybe you don't want to pay expensive webmaster fees every time you need an update. Then SWeCS Edit could be a good option for you. However, SWeCS Edit is unsuitable for any complicated website programming, such as CGI programs, Javascript, and so on. It's intended use is to update text and images only.

SWeCS Edit can be set up for you in no time. And if for some reason you've lost (or fired) your webmaster, not a problem. You don't even need to involve your webmaster to have it set up for your site. All you need is your hosting details.

To get started with SWeCS Edit, there is a setup fee of $55, plus a monthly fee of $15. This fee covers the usage of our bandwidth, as well as UNLIMITED SUPPORT.

ALTAVISTA RESULTS NOW PROVIDED BY YAHOO

Over recent times, Yahoo have purchased a number of other smaller search engines. These include Overture, AltaVista, and All The Web.

As a result, they have now combined their databases and search technology so that Yahoo, AltaVista, and All The Web now provide the same results as follows:

  • The top 3 results are the top 3 bidders from Overture
  • The remaining results are from Yahoo's own spider/web crawler technology

So you no longer need to submit your site separately to Yahoo and AltaVista. And if you want to be in the top 3, you can no longer do it without paying for listings (per click) through Overture.

DR SEUSS EXPLAINS COMPUTERS

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port, and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort, and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort, then the socket packet pocket has an error to report.

If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash, and the double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash, and your data is corrupted 'cause the index doesn't hash, then the situation's hopeless and your systems gonna crash!

If the label on the cable on the table at your house, says the network is connected to the button on your mouse, but your packets want to tunnel on another protocol, that's repeatedly rejected by the printer down the hall, and your screen is all distorted by the side effects of gauss, so your icons in the window are as wavy as a souse, then you may as well reboot and go out with a bang, 'cause as sure as I'm a poet, the sucker's gonna hang!

When the copy of your floppy's getting sloppy on the disk, and the microcode instructions cause unnecessary risk, then you have to flash your memory and you'll want to RAM your ROM. Quickly turn off the computer and be sure to tell your mum.
